1. It was Farmer's Market Day in downtown State Capitalville. I got a lovely large bag of lettuce, 2 vine-ripened tomatoes (no pesticides), a ginormous chocolate chip cookie for DD, and a triple-chocolate brownie and a bag of freshly-popped popcorn for myself. Mr. Annearchy had some weird scabby things on the left side of his very high (almost bald) forehead for the past few days. He said he had hit his head on some pipes or a beam or something in the ceiling of our garage this weekend, so he thought he might have scratched his forehead and it bled a little. 1. Darling Daughter had Thursday and Friday off from school because of the statewide teachers' convention that happens this time every year.
